Hexagonal Chinese-style rattan and bamboo hanakago basket for ikebana (karamono hanakago). It features a lacquered and brushed bamboo vase.

The body is tightly braided horizontally, with the edges reinforced by vertical braiding. The base rests on six bamboo feet, revealing sparse hexagonal braiding following the shape of the basket. Bamboo handle with rattan braiding.
