NATURAL WOOD TABAKO-IRE SMOKING SET – MEIJI

Tabako-ire smoking set comprising a gold and lacquered bamboo pipe (kiseru) in its case (kiseru-ire) and snuffbox (tonkotsu), both in lacquered natural wood. Ojime in transparent hard stone.
The wooden case has been skillfully crafted to reveal the pipe while holding it securely in place, so that it can be removed simply by sliding it out.
As sagemono, the smoking set can be worn on the kimono’s obi belt.
