repr\u00e9sentant un piment, d\u2019une laque rouge nuanc\u00e9e sur la partie fruit et en laque verte textur\u00e9e et brillante sur le p\u00e9doncule. Le dessous est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en laque <em>nashiji<\/em> sur fond noir tout comme l\u2019int\u00e9rieur a l\u2019exception du rebord, en laque or.<\/p>\n<p>Un k\u00f4g\u00f4 est une bo\u00eete \u00e0 encens utilis\u00e9e au Japon dans le cadre de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie du th\u00e9. En terre \u00e9maill\u00e9e, en bois laqu\u00e9 ou en porcelaine blanche, ils repr\u00e9sentent souvent des animaux, des plantes ou des figures humaines.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019aubergine rev\u00eat une symbolique particuli\u00e8re au Japon, notamment dans\u00a0<em>l\u2019Hatsuyume<\/em>\u00a0(premier\u00a0r\u00eave\u00a0de la nouvelle ann\u00e9e). Traditionnellement, ce r\u00eave doit pr\u00e9dire la chance du r\u00eaveur dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e qui suit. Depuis l\u2019\u00e9poque Edo, la croyance populaire veut qu\u2019un r\u00eave constitu\u00e9 du mont Fuji, d\u2019un faucon et d\u2019une aubergine soit de tr\u00e8s bonne augure. \u00a0Une formule japonaise r\u00e9sume le principe de\u00a0<em>l\u2019Hastuyume<\/em>\u00a0:\u00a0<em>Ichi-Fuji, Ni-Taka, San-Nasubi\u00a0<\/em>(\u00ab\u00a01. Fuji, 2. Faucon, 3. Aubergine\u00a0\u00bb).<\/p>\n<p>Ce premier r\u00eave est largement r\u00e9pandu durant la p\u00e9riode Edo, n\u00e9anmoins l\u2019origine de cette tradition reste inconnue. Plusieurs hypoth\u00e8ses existent. Selon une version attribu\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0<em>Tokugawa Ieyasu<\/em>, cette formule est issue de l\u2019ancienne province de\u00a0<em>Suruga<\/em>\u00a0: il s\u2019agirait des trois choses les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es de la province : le mont Fuji, le mont Ashitaka (se terminant par \u00ab\u00a0taka\u00a0\u00bb qui signifie faucon) et le prix tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 des premi\u00e8res aubergines.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres hypoth\u00e8ses mettent en avant la port\u00e9e symbolique\u00a0des trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments\u00a0: le caract\u00e8re sacr\u00e9 du mont Fuji, la force et l\u2019intelligence du faucon, l\u2019homonymie du mot aubergine et du verbe \u00ab\u00a0accomplir\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Il est aussi possible que cette formule soit issue de la ville de\u00a0<em>Komagone<\/em>abritantle temple\u00a0<em>Komagome Fuji-jinja<\/em>, d\u2019o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait possible d\u2019observer le mont Fuji. Les vestiges d\u2019une maison de fauconniers \u00e9tablie par le\u00a0<em>sh\u00f4gun<\/em>\u00a0<em>Yoshimune Tokugawa\u00a0<\/em>(1684-1751) ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9s par des fouilles men\u00e9es dans les ann\u00e9es 1970. Enfin,\u00a0<em>Komagome\u00a0<\/em>\u00e9tait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque d\u2019Edo une terre de production d\u2019aubergines.<\/p>\n<p>En terre \u00e9maill\u00e9e, en bois laqu\u00e9e ou en porcelaine blanche, ils repr\u00e9sentent souvent des animaux, des plantes ou des figures humaines.<\/p>\n<p>Il semble que le piment a \u00e9t\u00e9 import\u00e9 au Japon dans le courant du XVII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire des Portugais. Une explication linguistique atteste cette hypoth\u00e8se car c\u2019est aussi \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode que fut import\u00e9 le ma\u00efs qui se dit pour rappel \u3068\u3046\u3082\u308d\u3053\u3057 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kotoba.fr\/tomorokoshi\/\"><em>t\u00f4morokoshi<\/em><\/a>). Celui-ci a pour point commun avec\u00a0<em>t\u00f4garashi<\/em>\u00a0de commencer par\u00a0le pr\u00e9fixe <em>t\u00f4<\/em>. Ceci n\u2019est bien s\u00fbr pas un hasard puisque cela un rapport direct avec le kanji \u5510 qui renvoyait \u00e0 l\u2019origine \u00e0 la Chine pour ensuite d\u00e9signer tout ce qui venait de l\u2019\u00e9tranger, tout ce qui \u00e9tait import\u00e9 au sens large.<\/p>\n<p>Bien souvent,\u00a0<em>t\u00f4garashi<\/em>\u00a0sera traduit par \u201cpiment rouge\u201d afin d\u2019\u00e9viter la confusion avec\u00a0<strong>\u30d4\u30fc\u30de\u30f3<\/strong> (<em>p\u00eeman<\/em>) \u00e0 rapprocher du portugais <em>piment\u00e3o <\/em>depuis le latin <em>pigmentum <\/em>d\u00e9signant d\u00e9pendant du lieu et de l\u2019\u00e9poque\u00a0: soit toute substance colorante soit le mot \u00e9pice en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. De nos jours au Portugal comme au japon, ce dernier d\u00e9signe plut\u00f4t le piment doux, le poivron. Celui-ci n\u2019est attest\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9crit en fran\u00e7ais qu\u2019\u00e0 partir de la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 du XVII \u00e8me si\u00e8cle, form\u00e9 du mot <em>poivre<\/em> et du suffixe <em>-on. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Partout \u00e0 travers le monde le piment est associ\u00e9 a des qualit\u00e9s dynamiques, parfois av\u00e9r\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leurs effets toniques aujourd\u2019hui bien connus sur le c\u0153ur. En Chine les guirlandes de piments mises \u00e0 s\u00e9cher devant les fen\u00eatres et au-dessus des portes de maisons ont la r\u00e9putation d\u2019attirer la chance et la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de repousser des influences n\u00e9fastes. Au Japon les piments import\u00e9s \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9s par la caste des samoura\u00efs de l\u2019\u00e8re Edo, ceux-ci les consommaient avant la bataille soit pour se donner du courage
