Gueridon Table attributed to Viardot

Very interesting asymetrical table in carved wood. The top is adorned with flowers, branches and butterflies mother-of-pearl inlays. One drawer on the side with butterfly shape bronze handle. Two asymmetrical shelves with open-worked bronzes and lion heads. This table is iconic of the Viardot style and a perfect example of the Japanese trend in France at the end of the 19th Century.
