Nashi-ji lacquer Suzuribako decorated in maki-e Hira, taka maki-e and kedatsu gold lacquer depicting a bridge over a river close to rocks, pines, cherry trees and willow tree under clouds, the inside of the lid is decorated with a cottage near a pine and a paddy field.
It includes a suiteki (dropper,) a sumibasami (ink loaf,) a small knife (Tousu,) a punch (kiri) and an ink stone (suzuri.)
